The patient, an unmarried 25-year-old female, was suffering from Pulmonary tuberculosis (under treatment). She had observed, swelling all over her body with puffiness of face in the morning and swelling of both lower limbs, experiencing symptoms like chest pain, palpitations and mild swelling in the neck. She was advised by her relative to visit the UPTM center for treatment. In her visit to Chunar CHC Telemedicine center, the doctor advised her for a thyroid test. The result indicated hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism can accelerate your body’s metabolism, causing unintentional weight loss and a rapid or irregular heartbeat.
The healthcare team formulated a plan to be followed by her.
