Upgrade UPHCs into e-UPHCs (Electronic Urban Primary Health Centers
Patients can access Apollo’s specialist doctors remotely
Through this initiative, ATHS aims to serve 13.2 million people in three years, thereby catering to basic and advanced healthcare needs of approximately 20% of the total population of Andhra Pradesh.
After the successful launch and running of Electronic Urban Primary Health Centres under PPP with the Government of Andhra Pradesh, Apollo TeleHealth was awarded yet another project in its series of Public-Private Partnerships.
Challenge
To provide ophthalmology screening, diagnosis and consultations to the public residing in Mandal level localities along with free spectacles

Equipment of Automated digital equipment viz; Fundus Camera, Auto-refractor, Lensometer, Trial Set and other eye screening devices
Tele-Ophthalmology centres will be screening about 20% to 30% of the total footfalls at Community Health Centres in AP and are estimated to treat 35 lakh people, towards touching a billion lives, through Telehealth.
The HP-THS programme is first of its kind health care service delivery innovation in India. The programme provides much needed emergency, specialty and super-specialty consultation services to locations at 14,500 feet above sea level in the Himalayan mountain range.
