Common Service Centre
A Common Service Centre (CSC) is an information and communication technology (ICT) access point created under the National e-Governance Project of the Indian government. The project plan includes the creation of a network of over 250,000 CSCs throughout the country. The purpose of the project is to provide much-needed information and services to underserved Indians in rural areas.
By synergizing healthcare services, Information & Communication Technologies (ICT), medical equipment, and patient information system, we provide solutions like Primary Care Tele- consultations and Specialist Tele-consultations. Hence, empowering a remotely located consumer across the country to access Apollo’s world-renowned doctors.
It is mainly because of this initiative and experience in Healthcare that Apollo has been able to quickly connect with thousands of rural endpoints through the Digital India Program and help them become Rural Tele-Clinics, thereby delivering quality healthcare to the rural population seamlessly from their neighbourhoods. This project was inaugurated by Union minister Honourable Shri. Ravishankar Prasad, under the ‘SEHAT’ initiative by the Government of India.
