PAN African e-network Project

Under the visionary leadership of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, The Ministry of External Affairs, Govt of India launched the Pan African e Network Project duly supported by Apollo Hospitals for providing Telemedicine and Tele-education services. 54 African countries are connected in this network which avails super speciality telemedicine services from Apollo Hospitals. The project has touched significant numbers of lives since its initiation and has delivered various Continued Medical Education programs. The super specialities include neurology, neurosurgery, oncology, gastroenterology, paediatric cardiology, vascular surgery, orthopaedics, plastic surgery, pathology, and radiology. The CME programs are conducted in English and French. Many healthcare resources, including paramedics and doctors, have been trained for better services through these CME.
