There is an acute shortage of intensivist in India and across the world. It is expensive to retain them unless there is sufficient work load / revenue generation. Smaller hospitals and nursing homes are challenged with this situation. They either call intensivist on need basis or employee less competent and less expensive doctors whereby comprising quality and continuity of care. ATHS offers an excellent solution for hospitals in such scenario. Our remote patient monitoring system captures vital parameters through peripheral medical devices and integrates with hospital’s information system to capture demographics, lab information, medication information and images. This entire clinical information is presented to intensivist who is available at remotely located command center. This intensivist monitors the patient, alters bed side medical staff in case of any medical emergency. He also acts as a supporting specialist for the treatment of that patient. Such services are available as once a day / twice a day/ continuous monitoring packages.
